JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Simplify Repetitive Tasks with Loops A Closer Look At Loop Conditions

using of while loop

The code in app.js just opens a prompt, asks for a password, and writes to the document. Something is missing. Add a while loop, so that a prompt keeps appearing until the user types "sesame" into the prompt. I am not getting how to write the for this.can anyone please clarify this doubt?

app.js
var secret == 'sesame';
while(secret !== sesame){
  var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
  secret += 1;
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

A couple things wrong with your code. You are declaring the variable secret twice,I should only be declared outside of the while loop. Also you are giving secret the value of sesame when you should be asking your user what the password is.Lastly, you need to set sesame as a string. View below

var secret;
while(secret !== "sesame"){
  secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

I hope this helps.
