Using SASS in a mamp environment (cannot cd to Applications/MAMP/htdocs

Hi guys, trying to use SASS in a MAMP environment but when I open my Terminal to "watch" files I can't even use the command to enter the MAMP file, I keep getting the error "No such file or directory". Not sure what to do here? (Full disclosure: somewhat new to Macs + the command line in general)

(currently using Codekit to compile the sass which seems to work awesomely so far in lieu of the command line)

Artie,

You'll likely need to start your cd command with a slash, like so:

cd /Applications/MAMP/htdocs

Hope that helps!

Hi everyone ! I've got the same problem. I can run sass in my User environnement but not in MAMP. I mean.. If i use the sass command : "sass --watch" for a directory on my desktop, it works. Ok, but if i want to use it for a project in my htdocs directory i receive an error message like this :

myproject me$: sass -v rbenv: sass: command not found

The `sass' command exists in these Ruby versions: 2.1.1

I don't know why exactly. Maybe is it a problem of permission or something. Because i installed MAMP in my Users Applications directory.. ?? I don't know..

He's someone could help me or ever had the same problem ? Thanks!

Ok, I found the solution. It was because Sass wasn't installed directly on my "System". I don't kow where it was but it could just work on my "Users" folders whereas Mamp was installed on my System. I hope you understood my poor english. :) Thanks!
