Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Improving Our Code Adding More Colors

using the increate method i am supposed to change the text color for food label and the text color for drink label,

i don't know how too,,,,,in the video before this challenge all it taught was how to create random color, which is not this challenge, please help

        drinkLabel = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.drinkTextView);
        RelativeLayout mealLayout = (RelativeLayout) findViewById(R.id.mealLayout);
        mealLayout.setBackgroundColor(Color.GREEN);

That solution worked for me.

In order to change the text color of a TextView, you could use the following code:

foodLabel.setTextColor(Color.RED);
drinkLabel.setTextColor(Color.YELLOW);

Between the brackets of the setTextColor function you could also use the following to parse a hexadecimal color:

// This would become red
foodLabel.setTextColor(Color.parseColor("#FF0000"));
// And this is also red!
foodLabel.setTextColor(Color.rgb(255, 0, 0));
