3,203 PointsUsing Workspaces for Python Track
Could someone explain to me how to use workspaces for Python? Everytime I try to type dir or help in the console I get an error. Is that not where I'm supposed to be doing that?
And when I'm trying to work on a code challenge, where do I define my lists and dicts (etc)? In the console?
I'm really confused by this, but I feel like I shouldn't be - was there any video tutorials on how to use this feature which I missed?

12,976 PointsWorkspaces works as a virtual development environment. There are three components, the console, the editor and the file tree. The console is for unix based commands and executing our code. The left column is for navigating the file structures. The editor is for writing code.
You should define your lists and dicts in the file editor after navigating to the appropriate folder/file. I hope this helps.
