10,020 PointsUTC vs Greenwich Mean Time
Maybe this is just from nationalist British primary school teachers, but I was always taught about Greenwich Mean Time. What is the difference between GMT and UTC? Are they interchangeable (BC AND BCE) I know this isn't a geography forum, but does anyone have any knowledge on the subject?

2,521 PointsThe prime meridain still runs through Greenwich, England. But, the British Royal Observatory, or whatever it's known as, is no longer in charge of worldwide timekeeping. So: UTC.
