variable path assigned but never used warning

getting the warning that variable path is assigned but never used warning. compiler succeeds but I don't get why i'm getting that warning.

Just as the message says, the code creates that variable named "path" but never uses it for anything. It's not an error, but it is a potential sign that something is missing so the compiler gives a warning.

If you are following along with the videos but have not gotten to the last one yet, perhaps this was created in anticipation of code yet to be added.
