Very strange..

So I've followed the tutorial exactly, and looked my code over quite a bit. The cell.detailTextLabel.text command doesn't seem to do anything.

After some debugging, it seems that nothing I do with the interface builder has any bearing on my code. In fact, I can completely delete the Table View Controller from my scene and the code still runs.

I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

Hmm, I fixed it by re-creating my storyboard and view controller. As for what caused the bug originally, we may never know!

That has happened to me in the past, sometimes Xcode can create like a cache version of the app. A tip to get round this is to clean the app and then run it, it should get rid of any lingering code. If you want to do this then go into Xcode, select from the menu Product ->Clean and that should do it. Once you've done that run it again and should sort everything out.

That's good to know! I don't know that it fixed my particular issue. I'm seeing it happen again at a different point in this course.. I'll start a new question on the appropriate video and link to it if you're interested. Thanks!
