virtualization disabled itself?

I was running a virtual device using genymotion few days ago and it worked fine. After a few day when I came back to run it, it wouldn't let me run it because my virtualization is disabled. I never touched the settings nor have I use disable my virtualization. Can someone please tell me what to do and why this happened? is it a bug? I would appreciate any help
