Visual Logic with Mac?

Is there a way to use Visual Logic with a MAC? I am taking an Intro to Programming and this is what we have to used and as far as I know it is windows based.

It looks like Visual Logic is windows only, so in order to run it on a mac you will need to either run windows on a virtual machine using a program like parallels. Using parallels you can run OS X and windows side by side without having to reboot.

You could also use boot camp which requires you to boot into each OS. this page includes some information on using boot camp.

My university provides virtualization programs for free so you might check with your school to see if they offer one or two as well.

Thank you so much for your response! I will check with my school as well. :)

Also note that while virtualization comes with ease of access, it would also come with lower performance than if you were running windows and Visual Logic on the hardware using boot camp.

Most people use Macs because they are supposed to just work. Well Wine has a philosophy that's the exact opposite of that, it may work depending on the program and how many hours of googling and trying stuff out you put into it YMMV (Your mileage may vary)

Ain't that the truth. Codeweavers has done a good job of applying a "just works" approach to Wine, but that's still heavily dependent on the software and its compatibility with the current Wine version.
