I was wondering if I need programing experience while taking this course. And if I do, where should I start? I can understand some of the terms but not familiar with all of them, which will make it difficult for me to write my own code in the future.

Thank you

The answer to your question is YES! You will need to at least have a basic understanding of writing code and the basic functionality of Unity. The beginner tag on this course is misleading. It's a beginner course for VR but you need to be at least an intermediate Unity Game developer to be able to grasp the content. Plus currently the course is very out of date with the VR namespace used having been depreciated. For an experienced Unity developer that is only a minor roadblock as they can review the Unity Documentation and Scripting API to bridge the gaps.
