This isn't a question at all. We need more interactivity here! Simply watching videos, doing a couple pieces of code, and then a tiny quiz doesn't help all that much with retaining material. A lot of us have to get hands-on with material in order to learn it. I could have never learned mathematics from just doing a couple sample problems and watching videos on it.
I think all of the students of Team Treehouse would benefit from mini-projects that happen after each section of a stage and from one big project once the over-arching stage is completed. It could be done by using the same editor from Challenges so that it will retain code and also judge that code.
I think there's a lot of potential for Treehouse to be the very best online learning resource for web development.

9,992 PointsI agree with your idea. I could use more large tasks to complete to gain a better grasp on what is being taught. I know that it is recommended that students take what they have learned and use it but some of us don't have projects that we are working on and just want to learn more about programming. Even some of us that have projects run into issues that are not necessarily explained in the coursework.
I would like to see more large projects that we can do that have been done before and have places to reference when we run into issues. I think that would help those of us that have taken alot of courses and just want to be able to practice what we have learned to see if we are doing things in a "best practices" form.
I also agree that Treehouse has been by far, the best source that I have found for learning to code. I just want more things that focus on taking someone with knowledge from the courses here to a proficient programmer. It seems as though the e-learning market is saturated with Beginner level courses and not as much Intermediate and Advanced courses with applicable projects.

15,719 PointsI agree with yours as well. I also agree that the e-learning market is saturated with Beginner level courses. It's difficult to find more advanced courses on Javascript. I am hoping to see some awesome things come from Treehouse.
