Web design practice

Hello all,

I learn best by doing. So I am wondering if there are any resources out there that that you learn by doing a project. Specially, one that gives you a website design that you would recreate using code.

Does anyone know of any online recourses that you learn by recreating website design? Thanks!

Why don't you just try do build websites yourself? Even if you won't deploy them, it's still very good practice.

Setup XAMPP, download Sublime text and go try out the things you learned so far. Look at a website you like and try to recreate it. Make use of different methods in different projects and try to see what you like best. That's the way i did it.

Also, look around at Codepen and see if there are things you like and try to understand the code. Or even try to implement them in your projects.

The world is your oyster! You can turn any site you want to recreate into a project. When you have questions along the way, you have communities like the one at Treehouse to turn to!

If you really want to recreate a site in more of a guided way, there is a course on Udemy called The Complete Web Developer Course that includes a lesson on recreating the BBC website. The course is $199, but is regularly included in Udemy sales, as I purchased it for $10 about 4-6 months ago.
