tried this challenge over and over again am failing

LaunchActivity.java

import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;

public class LaunchActivity extends AppCompatActivity {

    public Button launchButton;
    public int fuelLevel;

    @Override
    protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
        super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
        setContentView(R.layout.activity_launch);

        // fuelLevel is set elsewhere.

        launchButton = (Button)findViewById(R.id.launchButton);
        launchButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
            @Override
            public void onClick(View v) {

                Intent intent = new Intent(LaunchActivity.this, FlightActivity.class);
                startActivity(intent);
            }
        });
    }
}

Hi Prosper moyo

Thanks for trying this challenge. You can use the method defined in the Intent class putExtra() to store data as a Key-Value pair . In this challenge, the key is provided as "FUEL_LEVEL" . You are storing int fuelLevel which is already availed as field variable. Please have a look at my code below:

 @Override
            public void onClick(View v) {
                // Add your code in here!
                //intent declared for you here
                Intent intent = new Intent(LaunchActivity.this, FlightActivity.class);

             //using intent call method putExtra() to store int fuelLevel as key-value pair
              intent.putExtra("FUEL_LEVEL", fuelLevel);
                startActivity(intent);
            }
