What about typography for mobile?

I understand that desktop and web fonts are distinct. Where do mobile apps fit into this?

Hi,

mobile font can use web-font too :)

In practice, you can convert a desktop font to a web-font and use it on any website or app with css @font-face declaration.

Emmanuel Plouvier , I'm not sure I understand your answer above, it seems to contradict what the course said about converting desktop fonts to web..."you can convert a desktop font to a web-font and use it on any website or app with css @font-face declaration." The typeface then would not be specifically designed for web if you convert it correct?
