What am I missing here?

Hey there,

good job, you almost got it right! The only problem is that you're missing the closing curly brace of your switch statement. If you add it, your code should look like this and work:

    switch key {
    case "BEL", "LIE", "BGR": europeanCapitals.append(value)
    case "IND", "VNM": asianCapitals.append(value)
    default: otherCapitals.append(value)
    }
