iOS Swift Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Loops Working With Loops

What am i missing here guys/gals?

Double checked my work and still getting message its not right... just trying to add sum of array numbers, and use counter as index.. thanks in advance for any help!

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
       counter += 1
       sum = sum + numbers[counter]
}

It's a common issue. You are incrementing the counter before you are adding the first index of numbers to sum. This means you're skipping over the first value.

let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter += 1
}

I didn't even realize i was putting it ahead of that!!! Thank you for the quick help.
