JavaScript Object-Oriented JavaScript Object Basics Filling Out the Play Method

What am I not catching?

Is there something that I'm not paying attention to?

object.js
const player1 = {
    name: 'Ashley',
    color: 'purple',
    isTurn: true,
    play: function(){
        if(this.isTurn){
       this['name'] + "is now playing!";
      }
    }
}

You almost got it!. The challenge is asking for you to "return" a value. You need to remove the strings around "name". Also, to reference a object key/value pair you can use dot notation i.e. [this.name] which will come to Ashley.

const player1 = {
    name: 'Ashley',
    color: 'purple',
    isTurn: true,
    play: function(){
        if(this.isTurn){
          return [this.name] + "is now playing!";
        }
    }
}

const player1 = { name: 'Ashley', color: 'purple', isTurn: true, play: function(){ if(this.isTurn){ return [this.name] + "is now playing!"; } } }
