iOS Swift 2.0 Functions Functions in Swift 2.0 Recap: Functions

What does Double actually mean and how does it change things in code? Thanks!

I just don't understand what it means when it asks to use "double".

Thanks!

functions.swift
// Enter your code below
func temperatureInFahrenheit(temperature: Int) -> Double {
}

Couple things:

  1. Input parameter temperature should be of type Double.
  2. For the first step of the challenge, just return temperature back as the return value. It's already of Double type, and your function returns Double type, so you're good for now. In the next steps, you'll calculate using the input parameter temperature to provide a more meaningful return value.
// Enter your code below
func temperatureInFahrenheit(temperature: Double) -> Double {
  return temperature
}
