What does this mean "%d.)" ?

int counter = 1; for(String option : options) { System.out.printf("%d.) %s %n", counter, option); counter++; }

In this piece of code, what is it's significance?

1 Answer

%d is the token that accepts the int, the ".)" is just how the string formats. For example if the int was 1, you would see 1.) as the output.
