JavaScript React Basics (2018) First Steps in React Render an Element

What DOM elements did he replace when he typed in 'Loading...' in the root DIV? I didn't see any changes?

I didn't see any changes to the elements in the DOM when he typed in 'Loading...' in the root DIV and am confused on what point he was trying to make?

Can anyone provide some clarity?

Make sure you are using ReactDOM instead of ReactDom

I wasted a couple hours figuring this out to realize this was 'my' issue. Hope this helps, and others that had the similar issue

This is silly you had to put that.

Thank you for the solution saved me time.

The text content 'Loading...' itself was replaced, as would any html element if there had been any.
