Let's have a look at what the question says and what you did.

Question says:

  • "Add a property named 'ruby' that belongs to class 'Ruby'

What you did:

  1. "@property(nonatomic) float ruby" - here you created a property that is a float called ruby.
  2. "-(void) Ruby:(float)ruby;" - here you created a method called Ruby with an input that is a float and is called ruby

Therefore, 1. is wrong and 2. is completely unneeded according to the question.

What you want to do is the following:

@interface Bling : NSObject
@property (nonatomic,strong) Ruby *ruby;
@end

Here I have created a property (that is nonatomic and strong) that is a subclass of Ruby and is called ruby.
