what i am doing wrong

var firstNum = parseInt(prompt("enter some number"));
var secondNum =parseInt(prompt("enter some number"));
function RanNum(x , y){
if(x<y){
var ranChoice = Math.floor(Math.random*(y - x + 1)+x);
    alert (ranChoice);

}else if(x>y){
var ranChoice = Math.floor(Math.random*(x - y + 1)+y);
  alert (ranChoice);
 } 

  return ranChoice;
}


alert(RanNum (firstNum , secondNum));

ja please help me here .. i am lil' beat confusing

Hi, I believe the issue is that the .random function needs parenthesis when you call it:

Math.random()
