What inspired you to become a web developer? What was your first job as a designer/developer (for those in the industry)? How did you discover teamtreehouse?

What inspired me? I would have to say I was inspired by a website back when I was 14 years old. I looked at it and straight away I thought to myself "how was this made? I want to be able to do this!" From that day on I have been self teaching.

First job? Not had one, no one will take me on because I have no experience working as a web designer / developer apart from what I do in the house

How did I discover Treehouse? I was actually just browsing YouTube and then it came up, clicked it and now I am part of it and wouldn't go back.

I started because I hated my Wordpress themes I got. I wanted more control and so I started learning to get that control. I found team treehouse because of a podcast called doctype made by nick petit an Jim Hoskins. I watched a few episodes from the very beginning then tried to jump ahead to the current when I saw an early end. I found their page to see if it was just an iTunes thing and people started talking about them working here. I looked at it and decided to start the free trial. I fell in love immediately and I have utilized what they taught me past what I knew when I started and it only took a couple videos in php, HTML, and CSS to beat what my other programs had taught me in several months.

What inspired me was talking a Multimedia course when I was in High school. Our instructor showed us how to create a basic website. I haven't had any jobs yet in the industry. I'm still in college working toward my degree in multimedia design & development. I have a concentration in Web-game programming. I discovered team treehouse on youtube.
