will let the query to execute asynchronously and return the results to the callback. But here in the video, we do not put in a callback so the query is not to be executed until a .exec()
is called.
So between find()
and .exce()
we can pass any number of actions such as sorting to configure the final querying result we want it to be.
In sum, a query builder basically means: we call the find()
, then tell it to wait, and we start to build
the query configurations. After we have built the query with all the ingredients, we finally call .exec
when we are ready to execute the find()
