What is the 'a' in "nav a" for again?

For example, when you type in the following into CSS:

nav a { color: orange; }

...what does the a actually do again? Would anyone have a link to explain this? :)

Oops never mind, I figured it out. Sorry if it was a silly question!

In case people have the same question, the "a" in CSS is for anchor.

Writing nav a { background-color: orange; } will make all the background color of the links in your nav section turn orange.

Alright :)

Use inspector tool for better understanding about HTML elements as well. It helps, at least for me.

HI,

a stands for Anchor

This is the link, so if you have soemthing like a href you can link that button with a click to another page.

Did i explained it well?
