JavaScript Build a Simple Dynamic Site with Node.js Creating a Basic Template Engine in Node.js Making Our Views DRY

What is the thing about "template"?

I understand what it does. It's not difficult to figure out how it work either But in which course, we can learn about it? Does templating only work in Node.js?

Okay, I understand after watching next two videos and the quiz. The double curly brackets are simply used as a placeholder to use replace() method on string to replace it with the value you want to appear. The quiz uses %key% instead of {{key}} for the placeholder. So, you can use any kind of placeholder indication. I thought this template thing is a new JavaScript functionality.
