Java

What is wrong in this code??

the compiler said

error: class names, 'java, Example' are only accepted if annotation processing is explicitly requested. 1 error

class PezDispenser{ public static final int MAX_PEZ = 12; final private String characterName; private int pezCount;
public PezDispenser(String characterName){ this.characterName = characterName; pezCount = 0; }

public void fill(){ pezCount = MAX_PEZ; }

public boolean dispense() { boolean wasDispensed = false; if(!isEmpty()){ pezCount--; wasDispensed = true; } return wasDispensed; }

public boolean isEmpty(){ return pezCount == 0; }

public String getCharacterName(){ return characterName; }

}

public class Example {

public static void main(String[] args) { // Your amazing code goes here... System.out.println("We are making a new PEZ DISPENSER "); System.out.printf("FUN FACTS: There are %d PEZ allowed in every dispenser %n", PezDispenser.MAX_PEZ); PezDispenser dispenser = new PezDispenser("Donatello"); System.out.printf("The pez dispenser is %s %n", dispenser.getCharacterName() ); if(dispenser.isEmpty()){ System.out.println("Dispenser is empty!"); } System.out.println("Filling the dispenser with delicious Pez..."); dispenser.fill(); if(!dispenser.isEmpty()){ System.out.println("The dispenser is full"); } while(dispenser.dispense()){ System.out.println("Chomp!"); } if(dispenser.isEmpty()){ System.out.println("Aet all PEZ"); }

}

}

You should add ```Java before before your code (line above). It makes it so it's displayed nicely and makes it 10x more readable. I don't know the answer to your question though,

The code works just make sure your using javac Example.java to compile the program and check that the folder the code is written in is called Example.java

Thanks Gabe, I already figured it out.
