What should I be doing differently if I cannot solve these challenges with out checking the forums?

Any suggestions on how to better remember what I need to do?

As Moritz stated writing Docs is a great way, but I also recommend a simple pen and paper, note taking also, as it's scientifically proven most people better retain information when writing it down.

Hi Craig,

I write Docs with a short summary of the most videos while I'm watching them. That's great for looking them up at a later time when I need exactly the solution from a video to solve my problem.

Also, after each video I'm going to ask myself if I really understood what's going on.

So maybe you can try the same or simply re-watch some of the videos.

Good luck, Moritz

Rewatching videos and redoing code challenges really helps. Its easy to blow through the lessons and not fully grasp the concepts/syntax. Do not be afraid to redo stuff to really solidify your knowledge.
