Whats the difference between Document and DOM?

is this correct?

Document is the document that contains everything that is the webpage.

DOM are the tools (like an API) that provides a framwork for Javascript to interact with the document

1 Answer

Nope. The DOM is the document, modified for easier JavaScript usage. The document itself (not the DOM) is the raw HTML.
