JavaScript JavaScript Basics Introducing JavaScript Link to an External Script

What's the syntax to add a shout.js file to JavaScript file to link to a web page?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
  <body>
<script src="shout.js"></script>

</body>
</html>
shout.js
<script> shout.js
        </script>

Hi! you don't need to type anything in your shout.js file. It's enough with what you typed inside your body tag.

Jose is correct, you don't need to type anything in shout.js yet. To add the file you simply add the script tag in the body element in your html like you did.
