What's wrong with my code

on line 12 the compiler gives me no errors, but this is not the way I understood how to do it from the video. This is interesting when line 13, when I am doing what I understood was right, gives me an error.

It is either in lines 12 or 13 that has an error, or how I am declaring the variable doneButton on line 19 that is giving me errors. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

buttons.swift
// Example of UIBarButtonItem instance
// let someButton = UIBarButtonItem(title: "A Title", style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)

enum BarButton {
    case done(title: String)
    case edit(title: String)

    func button() -> UIBarButtonItem?
    {
      switch self
      {
        case .done: return UIBarButtonItem(title: "done", style: .done, target: nil, action: nil)
        case .edit(let edit): return UIBarButtonItem(title: "edit", style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)
      }
    }
}

let done = BarButton.done(title: "Save")
let doneButton: BarButton = done.button()

Hello Gavin,

in your switch statement you forgot to define the title part, furthermore you don't need to define them (save,edit). Here is the working code:

//Code

func button() -> UIBarButtonItem {
    switch self {
        case .done(let title):
        return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .done, target: nil, action: nil)
        case .edit(let title):
        return UIBarButtonItem(title: title, style: .plain, target: nil, action: nil)
    }
}
