Whats wrong with my Java code?

I think your code should look like this:

final MediaPlayer player = MediaPlayer.create(this, R.raw.ribbit);
        player.start(); 
        player.setOnCompletionListener(new MediaPlayer.OnCompletionListener() { 
            @Override 
            public void onCompletion(MediaPlayer mp) { 
                mp.release();
            } 
        });

Question: A MediaPlayer variable has been initialized for the β€˜ribbit’ sound effect. On the next line (before the OnCompletionListener), play it by using the variable's start() method.
