Whats wrong with the code ???

does anybody know whats wrong with the code

var id = "23188xtr"; var lastName = "Smith"; var userName = id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName;

i need the output to be 23188XTR#SMITH please help

var id = "23188xtr"; 
var lastName = "Smith";
var userName = id.toUpperCase() + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();

This code works for me. You just forgot to use .toUpperCase() for the last name. Also you need to do a console.log or document.write to see the userName.
