Whats wrong with this code?

I tried the .= method as well as the plain assignment operation as shown. Still fails. I am not sure what the issue is.

Yes. That passes task 2.

You are missing a space between the first and last name

$fullName = $firstName . " " . $lastName; is what you mean? I guess I never thought of that. I assumed it was talking about around the dot.
