5,501 PointsWhen are you changing to Swift 2.0?
I read somewhere that the classes would be changing and using Swift 2.0 starting some time in October but it is almost the end of November and the classes are still using an old version of Swift. It gets very confusing, I keep having to go to the forums over and over to figure out how my Swift is different. I end up with code that is very different from the code on the video and that is just super difficult to understand. Also, I need to learn this old code for the challenges but then I don't actually end up understanding the newest version. Thanks!

14,575 PointsHello :
Swift 2.0 has already been released here in treehouse. There are several courses out now, and more in development that should be released soon.

Good luck

5,529 PointsHey, I've been studying "the old Swift" for quite some time now, and been wondering should I continue with the old courses or switch to the Swift 2.0 -courses already? I'm at the point where we are supposed to start building our own apps (Fun facts -app is the first one) so is there any use for me to study them "the old way"? :) Thanks for any response!

14,575 PointsWell, it's up to you really. In my case I would finish the old swift all the way, and then go over swift 2.0. It will not hurt you, it will help you a lot. Remember that the more material you see the better.
