When I create a segue on the storyboard in Swift, why isn't there a view controller file automatically there?

and why when I create one, why does it still not work to connect my buttons to code on it? The buttons on the second view of the storyboard don't connect to ANYTHING. What am I supposed to do? Thanks. (Note: The first view buttons connect to the view controller file just fine. Just not the second view ones.)

No need to answer- Figured it out. I don't think I needed to create a secondViewController.swift file. I clicked on View Controller on the Storyboard and it was blank under class and it just had to be set on View Controller and now the buttons, etc. can connect.
