When I open the workspace, the files are TOTALLY different from the video!!!!!!!!! Not cool There is no Mock folder or anything!!

12,938 PointsI ran into the same problem. When you click "Launch Workspace", select "Launch Different Workspace" > "Create New Workspace" > select the current video title from dropdown "Pick an Environment to Start From". This will open the current workspace for the video!

This particular MEAN stack module is outdated because the module was filmed using an earlier version of Angular than what is now currently available. The instructor who filmed this module doesn't work at Team Treehouse, Inc. any longer. I don't know if Team Treehouse plans to update this particular course or not.

Look at the versions of your development dependencies in your package.json file & compare them to what you see in the video. You likely have the most recent versions of the development dependencies in your package.json file instead of what you see in the video. They were updated since the video was produced.
