Android Build a Simple Android App (2014) Creating the Screen Layout Adding a Button

When I try to drag the button onto the design preview in Android Studio, the whole program freezes.

I tried restarting the pc, using older versions of JDK, and I cannot get it to work.

I reinstalled the newer 7 JDK and it seems to have fixed it.

Another thing that i found that will make it completely freeze up at least on mine because sometimes i have multiple projects open at the same time is that it will crash with that so i have to make sure to not have multiple instances of android studio running. Also I have ran into the problem off and on to were if you have preview all screen sizes up and you have multiple XML files up as well that will also slow it down to were it can crash as well. So not sure if any one else has had that experience or you have but just in case figured i would let you know of that as well.
