When networking an event what if you have a name the other person will have trouble pronouncing it?

You can write a transcription under your name on CV and business card, like I do Kirill [`kiril] .

That is indeed a great suggestion! Appreciate your response. Thanks.

I think if you speak clearly when you introduce yourself then it shouldn't be a problem. Get some business cards made up, you can get them online very inexpensively and hand them out as you introduce yourself.

If you notice someone trying, but having a difficult time with your name, don't get frustrated or upset, instead gently remind them of the correct pronunciation, and maybe, if you're comfortable acknowledge your name can be a bit of a tongue twister the first few times.

Great advice. Thanks

It you have a nickname that you don't others using, let them know. Example. Hello my name is Richard Santana, but you can call me Ricky.
