7,369 PointsWhat do you mean? Did you do tutorials here? on iOS? the crystal ball and the space cat? you can get over to

And will teach you all about how to make a basic game that covers everything what that you need to know , or most of it .
If you combine that with treehouse, you will know everything . But you will lack of practice. So just practice now, practice practice and practice. if you can make a space cat game , you should use what you learned there and do you own game as breaking bricks game. E.g make a word with physics while walking you shoot with projectiles and enemy spewing and you having high score and all .
This is iOS games. Its not hard , you have to do it step by step .it will take you time but it will be worth at the end.

1,374 PointsHi,
For the swift IOS tutorials they only have the weather app and the fact app, are those games you are talking about for obj-c?
Aurelian Spodarec
7,369 PointsAhh, all right you did swift. Swift is pretty new so there aren't many tutorials like they should be made i believe. I would say , learn obj-c . You can combine them to together because at the end you will probably need it anyways so it will be good for you to learn it now since you know , or are familiar with swift .

1,374 PointsI have done the Swift IOS class so i have a pretty good grasp on it and was planning on taking on learning sprite kits with swift to build game applications.

7,369 PointsWhat i mean , is that because Swift is new, to do some stuff , you will probably need obj-c to make it. Plus objective-c is still the standard so it would be easier for you to make a game since there are a lot of tutorials out there same as in TTH . You can just stick with Swift but its just new . Its still in development . When it goes on standard , it will take cople of years i believe since apple is build in obj-c . I mean to build a game , any kind of, i would say you need obj-c. As i mentioned , you can combine them together . It may be easier to combine them to create certain things . Thats my point of view as you said you want to create iOS games. As long as your like , feel of something you can't do on swift . Im not sure how your with all the code and all the stuff and what you got in mind.
Hope this helps ^^
Good Luck!

1,374 PointsNow that apple released swift, do you think they will start to move away from objective-c?
Aurelian Spodarec
7,369 PointsWell, Swift is apple new programming language and as i heard in cople of year, it will be apple standard. But since its just too new, you should use obj-c too even to a job interview, for other people and just for functionality . I think it will be apple standard .
