alert("I DID IT!");

You always indeed need quotation marks if you're wanting to write text.

1 Answer

First of all you're adding the alert twice. In the script tag and in the shout JS file. This is not necessary. Remove the alert(I DID IT!) from in between the script tags. Second, you should put quotation marks around the "I DID IT!" like this:

alert('I DID IT!');

Hope this helps.
