where do i put the color? tried and tried but nothing worked.

i need to write the color green next to h1, i did it many ways but nothing works.

Here's what you're looking for:

<style>
  h1 {
    color: green;
  }
</style>

They ask us first to create the style element above the h1. Then we make the h1 selector. And these two parts you must've done correctly, because you made it to the last part! Then we simply type color: green inside those braces. I don't know what you typed originally, but I suspect there must've been a typo as you made it so far with no errors!
