Where do I start petition for Unreal Engine track on Treehouse?

Did you know that UE4 is now available to all of your students free of charge?

I wan't you to make a learning track to make games in unreal engine, because your lessons are easy to follow and to learn from and if I was to subscribe some other site I'd have to cancel this sub and I don't want to do that.

HI @Edmunds Sulzanoks, Im not sure there is a formal way of starting a petition but simply getting up votes and comments I'm sure would work in the same manner. My advise would be shoot an email to: help@teamtreehouse.com

With "Content Suggestions" as the subject, they take these emails into consideration every month I believe so that they can gear their content towards the student needs.

Hope This helps

Dom

I too am dying for Unreal Engine to be on here. A game engine branch in general would just be nice, and have a few specific tutorials for Unreal and Unity, as for the most part, a lot of the basics work for both. (Since the Unreal engine just went free that is the engine that is currently need for the tutorials, there are plenty out there already for Unity, but Unreal is a much more inspiring and exciting platform)

Hi everyone,

Teaching one game engine and VR is already a tremendous amount of work for one teacher (me), and we want to get that right first. Believe me, we want to teach Unreal, 2D games, game art, mobile games, and much more, but we just don't have the capacity right now. I hope that changes someday!

We understand. But does this mean Treehouse are in some kind of financial trouble? You are a great teacher but you could hire another specialist to do an unreal course if the financial recourses are there. Just saying.

No financial trouble, but resources also are not unlimited. Game development and VR is still a new topic for us, so we're working on growing the library by prioritizing what we think will make the most impact.

Thanks a lot Nick, just curious. Sorry for any troubles.

A Unreal engine would blow your website off with new users
