Where is hello world?

Following the rails development track. Build a Todo List Application with Rails 4:

Where is the introduction? Where is hello world? Why do I feel like I have been tossed into the Fray without a good understanding?

By watching this I feel like I'm being taught to swim. The teacher shows me a few swimming forms, lets me practice for a few minutes. Then later when I'm out of the pool the teacher sneaks behind me and pushes me into the deep end and watches me drown.

I don't have problem with this section as much as I have a problem with it's placement in the rails development track.

I'm not going to be able to remember what has been taught here later on.

Rails track has been modified. I think that "hello world" is situated in Ruby track witch is now a track apart. )
