In the else if clause, you have to put the variable isStudent, not isAdmin, then display an alert box with the message: alert('Welcome student'), because isStudent is true, the alert box will display.

var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = true;

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if (isStudent) {
   alert('Welcome student');

Chris;

Welcome to Treehouse!

Here are the instructions for this challenge:

Add an else if clause that tests to see if the isStudent variable is true. If it is then open an alert dialog with the message 'Welcome student'.

In the code you posted above I don't see where you are checking for the value of the isStudent variable, or of a "Welcome student" message.
