12,842 PointsWhere is Nick finding Pixel width information about vast amounts of different screen sizes?
Based on the following video's info: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/how-to-make-a-website/responsive-web-design-and-testing/adding-breakpoints-for-devices
Nick discusses in this video different size screens that he's making break points for. What I'm not understanding is how he's obtained blanket pixel sizes for a vast amount of different screens. I'm sure these values change with time as certain screen sizes fall in and out of popular use. So where is Nick obtaining the information he has on the pixel length of different screen sizes? How does he know that info is reliable and broad enough to cover 90%+ of all devices?

Right now, those screen dimensions he's using is relevant, but they may alter when new devices come out. The best thing to do is to just be up to date by searching online for these generic screen sizes to ensure that your site knows how to handle different sized devices.
The css-tricks site is a good source for this info: https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/media-queries-for-standard-devices/
