There's no index.html shown in this challenge, but the questions are worded in a way so that you can answer them with out needing to see the specific elements involved.

If it helps, for visualization purposes you can imagine that the flex container is a div element and the columns are other div elements inside it.

The instructions say to "use the flex item property and value that will expand the columns to fill the space of the row."

The name of the property that expands the columns is "flex-grow".
