where m i getting wrong

You're pretty close. You have two issues.

  1. You're declaring the showFactButton button twice.
  2. There is a class here that needs to be capitalized.
Button showFactButton = (button) findViewById (R.id.showFactButton);

Do you see what needs to be capitalized here? If you're having trouble figuring it out, refer back to the challenge description, it will tell you what to write and how to write it.
