THE TASK Check if each student has a GPA of 4.0. If the student has a GPA of 4.0, use the student's name variable to display "NAME made the Honor Roll". If not, use the variable to display "NAME has a GPA of GPA".

MY CODE: <?php $studentOneName = 'Dave'; $studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure'; $studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment if($studentOneGPA==4.0){ echo "$studentOneName made the Honor Roll"; }//if 1 else{ echo "$studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA"; }//else1 if($studentTwoGPA==4.0){ echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll"; }//if 2 else{ echo "$studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA"; }//else2

?>

index.php
<?php
$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;
Concat + upper of FIRST_NAME and LAST_NAME
//Place your code below this comment

?>

Hi Barak!

The code itself seems to be correct, but the challenge validator might just not like the way you've written your code! Your code passed after removing the comments you added to your code.

If you write your code like I did below, the code will still be clear without the comments and it will pass the task. :)

$studentOneName = 'Dave';
$studentOneGPA = 3.8;

$studentTwoName = 'Treasure';
$studentTwoGPA = 4.0;

//Place your code below this comment

if($studentOneGPA == 4.0) {
  echo "$studentOneName made the Honor Roll";
} else {
  echo "$studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA";
}

if($studentTwoGPA == 4.0) {
  echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll";
} else {
  echo "$studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA";
}

Good luck!

Exactly, Barak Ben-Amram - the challenge validator doesn't accept the comments before the 'else' statement.
