Based off this article I found online (Link: https://www.codementor.io/tips/1196438172/recommended-gitignore-for-php-web-projects) it is common to use the following:

  • Composer (PHP Dependency Manager)
  • NPM (Node Package Manager)
  • Bower (Front-End Package Manager)
